Decided to make a project about Whole Foods, because a lot of people have experience with their products. Whole Foods is a huge market in the United States and other countries and we can find a lot of natural foods for our house, products for work and education, and different cooked foods there.
Company history
Whole Foods Market was founded in Austin, Texas when four local businesspeople decided the natural foods industry was ready for a supermarket format. The founders were John Mackey and Renee Lawson Hardy, owners of Safer Way Natural Foods, and Craig Weller and Mark Skiles, owners of Clarksville Natural Grocery. The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. They have grown by leaps and bounds since their first store opened.
Expansion
Beginning in 1984, Whole Foods Market began its expansion out of Austin, first to Houston and Dallas and then into New Orleans with the purchase of Whole Food Company in 1988. In 1989, they expanded to the West Coast with a store in Palo Alto, California. While continuing to open new stores from the ground up, they fueled rapid growth by acquiring other natural foods chains throughout the '90s: Wellspring Grocery of North Carolina, Bread & Circus of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Mrs. Gooch's Natural Foods Markets of Los Angeles, Bread of Life of Northern California, Fresh Fields Markets on the East Coast and in the Midwest, Florida Bread of Life stores, Detroit area Merchant of Vino stores, and Nature's Heartland of Boston.
2017–present: Amazon subsidiary
In February 2017, Whole Foods Market Inc. said it would close nine of its stores and lowered its financial projections for the year, moves made as the natural-foods company struggled with increased competition and slowing sales growth. In late April 2017, Whole Foods reported their sixth consecutive quarter of declining sales and announced that the company would be closing nine stores: two each in Colorado and California, and one each in Georgia, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Chicago, Illinois. The loss of revenue was attributed to foot traffic being down and other supermarkets offering a similar experience for a lower cost. On June 15, 2017, Amazon.com announced it would acquire Whole Foods Market, adding 400 physical stores to Amazon's e-commerce assets. The purchase was valued at $13.7 billion, and caused Whole Foods stock prices to soar after the announcement was made, said Wikipedia.

Concluding Thoughts
Social media has changed the face of customer relationships. Consumers have become so accustomed to online communities that it's often their preferred go-to for communication, even with companies. When a customer of Whole Foods has a good experience with a product, they want to share it with everyone. That it's very clear for management of Whole Foods how to use social media and tap this kind of engagement. However, there is no limit to perfection and in the next part of monitoring, we will try to give some recommendations. Nowadays social media is a good and important thing for us. People become used to their social media apps more than TV, and social media advertisement is more important than TV commercials or some TV shows.
The authors of Groundswell , Charlene Li and Josh Bernoff, told us about Steve Fisher and his experience with Salesforce.com . Decided to make a project about this company because it is an American cloud computing company headquartered in San Francisco and founded 19 years ago. Further, they have a good connection with social media. Though its revenue comes from a customer relationship management (CRM) product, Salesforce also sells commercial applications of social networking through acquisition and internal development. In August 2017, Salesforce announced that it had reached the $10 billion revenue run rate becoming the first enterprise cloud company to do so. Salesforce.com's customer relationship management (CRM) service is broken down into several broad categories: Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cl...

Many children don't have a family or money for water and food. How would people know about these children without social media? Have you ever donated money to charity? Each of us every day complains about our life because we don't have enough money for a new car, brand clothes or expensive restaurants. But we don't think about people who really need money just for one cup of water or small piece of bread. "In Africa, mortality rates among children under five decreased by 45 percent between 1990 and 2016, but still half of the world's 6.6 million under-five deaths occur in Africa. • Pneumonia, malaria, and diarrhea account for 40% of all under-five deaths in Africa. • At least 1 in 3 children under five in Africa were stunted in 2011. • In 2016, there were an estimated 2.9 million children under 15 years living with HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa. • Over half of the world’s out-of-school children (33 million) live in Africa. • The population in Africa with acc...
