From poor family to rich life through Instagram..

    This blog is about famous Turkish Chef Nusret Gokce, showing how he was able to change his life with Instagram. He just posted one video and was able to make a lot of money. He has 11M followers right now and 13 restaurants in different countries, called "Nusr-Et Steakhouse"

Nusret Gokce

       Nusret Gokce, born in 1983, nicknamed #SaltBae, is a Turkish chef who owns Nusr-Et Steakhouse, a chain of Turkish steakhouses. His art of cooking and preparing meat became an internet sensation.
       He is a trained butcher and chef. You can read more about him on Wikipedia.  Nusret credits his work ethic for his success. He only went primary school up until he was 5 years old — he didn’t have the financial means to continue school and said he grew up in poverty.





















          He was born into a poor family and he never requested even $1 from his father, although he did not have it anyway. “Since I was 13, I worked more than 18-20 hours a day as a kitchen runner for a butcher. My life hasn’t changed now. I still keep going to work from the morning until midnight.” he said for NBC News




















     Turkish chef Nusret Gokce became a global phenomenon when a video of him slicing up steak and sprinkling it with salt went viral, with millions dubbing him “Salt Bae”. People have even made memes and parodies of #SaltBae on Twitter In 2009 he earned money and opened one restaurant with 12 tables and 10 employees. 
    He just posted one video on his Instagram. It was able to change his whole life. Instagram gives us a lot of opportunities.

If you ask: "Can I make money on Instagram?" I will tell you, YES, YOU CAN!!!


    You can make money on Instagram. If you have a lot of likes or followers you can get a lot of offers with advertising or you can sell your pictures and posts to some communities on Instagram. You can find a lot of quality instructions on YouTube, a lot of bloggers explain to us how we can do it.



      Depending on your unique brand of Instagram content, your audience, and your level of commitment, you can make money on Instagram in the following ways:

  • Doing sponsored posts for brands that want to get in front of your audience.
  • Becoming an affiliate and making a commission selling other brands’ products.
  • Creating and selling a physical or digital product, or offering a paid service.
  • Selling your photography.










    Instagram has a lot of monthly active users. It is a huge social media site - 700M active users per month is a serious amount. People post pictures, video, paid for advertising, etc. Nowadays Instagram is a serious business. People can earn a lot of money here. We can find a lot of examples.
    A lot of investors invest money in Instagram and this data shows us about influencers from different countries which charge the highest sponsored post rates on average. Instagram is a huge empire.


















    One of the best examples is Nusret. He used this Instagram opportunity. He is a Turkish chef who recently became an internet sensation because of the suavely methodical way he slices meat, the sensual way he caresses his chops and the interesting way he sprinkles salt on food.  A video that was first posted to the Instagram “Ottoman steak” went viral and, as a result, Nusret was dubbed “Salt Bae.” This video has been viewed over 16 million times on Instagram. 


                       And exactly this video got a lot of good review.


      Now Nusret has 13 restaurants Nusr-Et Steakhouse and more than 1000 employees in different countries: Turkey 8, United Arab Emirates 3 and United States of America 2.
     You might have to wait for a table for around a week. He has a lot of famous singers, actors and political friends, for example, Leonardo Di Caprio and  DJ Khalid.

     He started to act in TV commercials and the New York Times wrote an article about him. Then he managed to star in the series "Narcos" with famous singer Diddy, and now has more followers than Diddy.

     “I was always wishing and wishing to open up a restaurant. I get all of my motivation from my customers, I am so happy right now, just follow my Instagram” he said for NBC News

   I think Nusret is a good inspiration for us. We spend a lot of time on Instagram. This time is not productive time for us because we just wanted to check "his day, her pets", etc. We should learn about this opportunity and take advantage of it, because if not us, then someone else will.

    Wowww! I never knew #Saltbae (Nusret Gokce) owned a restaurant and came from nothing.. I really appreciate this post about him as I knew nothing of him except what the internet has only labelled him as... (shame on me). Super bigs up to Nusret and what he has accomplished in his life !! Gives me the motivation to found my groundswell and continue creatively in my social media adventures.
